Dr Pepper needed a car illustration for an event they were holding called, Dr Pepper's Unmistakable Ride. The car illustration needed to have a traditional, airbrush style that would emulate street art, yet pushing realism. The only thing I knew about the car design was the make, model, and basic color. The illustration needed to happen before actual work had started on the cars they were giving away. I knew what types of things would be tricked out, but I didn't have specifics. I had to run with things like the pinstriping, paint job, rims, etc.
